Meet Rosie! She has been waiting for a furever home for over 150 days...Rosie, 293-23, is a very loving and sweet girl. She is affectionate and has lots of love to give. She would love a chance to show you what a wonderful companion she will be. She loves all treats, bully sticks, any toy she can play tug of war with, belly rubs and playing with her 10 month old foster fur brother. She is perfectly happy to just explore the yard instead of a walk, but she does like walks, if foster fur brother goes with her. She will settle with a bone and nap the afternoon away. She would do best in a home without young children as she can be a bit nervous occasionally - she redirects easily with love and encouragement. We had a short adjustment period when she came to us, but she quickly came to love being with us and our 10 month old Lifeline alum. They have become such good buddies and we haven't had any issues with sharing toys, food and treats after the first couple days. She has met our neighbors' dogs and park buddies and did great. She also loves meeting new people! She is good at "night night" to go into her crate and sleeps through the night (like 10 hours all night), and she is potty trained. She knows sit, down, target (nose touch to hand) and off (of anything you don’t want her on). She doesn't act aggressively towards other people and dogs during our walk, but does pull if she sees something interesting or to go say hi. She will make her human(s) very happy.
