Lifeline Puppy Rescue depends on volunteers for our success. This also means we depend on volunteers to make a time commitment and commit to showing up on scheduled days/times. Lifeline Puppy Rescue asks for a time commitment of a minimum of 6 hours/month. This can be done in one day or over the course of 2-3 days. Lifeline Puppy Rescue accepts volunteers 16 and older with no required adult supervision and volunteers from 13-15 with parental supervision.
Typical duties include: kennel cleaning, grounds clean-up, feeding/watering, puppy playtime and walks, medication distribution, adoption set-up and break down, adoption process assistance, puppy transfer intake, adoption prep and signage creation.
Volunteers for special events coordination such as donation drives and off- site adoptions are also needed. Please indicate your interest on the application. The purchase of a Lifeline Puppy Rescue t-shirt is required for all volunteers at the cost of $10 and will be collected at the orientation. A brief volunteer orientation is required and is generally done by shadowing an experienced volunteer.
