If you're looking for the ultimate package of cuteness, smarts, and playfulness, meet Paulie, a baby Labrador mix. Paulie loves giving kisses and playing with his siblings and make great strides with his foster siblings. He has typical lab demeanor: gentle and playful.Paulie is a sweet, goofy boy with a very nice disposition. Since he will be a big boy, he will do well with active owners and enjoy outdoor treks. He is walking on leash, but will need more training to walk beside you. Once Paulie adjusted to new surroundings (just a day or so) he laid at my feet playing or resting/sleeping when not actively playing. Regarding toys, he loves a simple denim knot toy and a rubber Kong toy, especially. He is having a so much fun chasing after a ball I've attached to a stick with rope ... I call it "going fishing." Sometimes he gets to running so fast as I twirl in the grass that he tumbles over himself and makes me laugh with joy! It's great exercise for him and joyful play for both of us. Regarding doing his business, he must be watched still for queues, but is learning. I'm in the process of transitioning him from puppy pads to actually going outside. He does not like a pen, will bark persistently, but he does well in the wire crate and takes his naps easily. If you're looking for a furry friend to join your family, come and meet Paulie!
