Honey was rescued with 2 broken back legs from New Mexico. One healed the other unfortunately did not and was causing pain for Honey. The veterinarians decided it was best to amputate. Honey has been recuperating in a loving foster home and here is what they have to say about this sweet girl. Honey was the perfect name for this sweet girl who loves to cuddle and give kisses. Missing one leg has not slowed her down and you would never know she only has three as it does not slow her down, she is playful and full of energy. Honey has done well with having an older dog around, she has really attached to her foster home's boxer mix, Miles. Honey loves to follow Miles around while learning some good habits from him and enjoys sharing his bone and bed. Honey does harass the foster home's cat a little but more out of curiosity then any aggression. She is still working on the potty-training aspect, but does use a potty pad, is great with little kids, and will bring so much life to the home she is in.
