Athena is a loving girl with a sweet demeanor, medium energy, athletic. She never touches her foster mom's stuff, only chews on chew toys and plays with her sibling in the home. She seems to tire herself out easily and gets very cute and cuddly when resting. She loves food and treats, which makes it easy to train! She quickly learned to sit, stay, and understand "potty" if you direct her outside (she comes back to the door after going). She even lingers by the door to tell her foster mom she's ready to go out. You can tell she is eager to please and will be a great companion. She goes in her crate unprompted and sleeps there soundly through the night (7-8 hours) or when her foster mom leaves the house. Athena is usually on high alert. She's not used to the people and sounds in her city neighborhood, so she will benefit from someone who will help her stay socialized and familiar with her surroundings. She will make for a very loyal companion and guard dog.
