Hi, I’m Bentley #1310. Please don’t let my shyness when someone tries to pick me up or when you first meet me deter you from giving me a chance. When first got to my foster home I was scared…but my foster mom says I need patience, good boy trust treats, and slow movements. Every day I am doing better and getting braver, it just takes me time to trust and feel safe. I have an awesome foster brother, a 90 lb lab named Rocky. We hit it off instantly and we have been inseparable friends since the minute I met him. Rocky has other dog friends that come over to visit—we have so much fun playing together. My foster mom says I am super sweet—not the kind of puppy that gets into all kinds of crazy trouble, but I do stop when I hear “no no.” I am good just chilling out with my toys, love other dogs, taking naps, zooming around the yard. My favorite spots: my playpen (covered, my save place), my night-time crate, and cuddling with Rocky on the couch ottoman. I’m doing great with “outside potty” training. Also, I haven’t met any little people, so I can’t tell you yet how I am with kiddos. I hope you will give me a chance (with patience) and consider adopting me as your new family member, I’d love to find my forever home…preferably with another dog friend. I MUST go to a home with another dog to help build my confidence.
