Little Nellie is such a sweetheart! She is nervous and appreciates having some to acclimate to new situations. It's so fun to watch her come out of her shell as her confidence grows every day! She loves her toys and is happy to entertain herself and get the occasional zoomies. She does very well with her older foster sister dogs but wishes they wanted to play with her all the time. She has not had any accidents since she's been with us. She's very smart and has been working on learning "sit" this week. Nellie sleeps through the night in her crate and does well in it when we leave the house. She has grown to really enjoy walks, she still gets a bit scared when she sees another dog or a loud car but with some reassurance and training she's discovering the world can be a fun place. Nellie will likely not show off her sweet, fun personality when you visit with her at the rescue but given some time, patience and love in her forever home she will blossom into an amazing dog! Nellie is only about 20lbs right now, so she is a great pup for someone looking for a dog on the smaller side. Nellie can't wait to find a forever family to call her own!
