Blossom was unfortunately returned to us through no fault of her own. Her adopter was diagnosed with a chronic illness and could no longer give her the care and activity she deserves. She was originally rescued by us a few years ago after being used as a breeding dog, with painful brands on her ears to prove it. Despite her rough start, Blossom has always been incredibly sweet and resilient. She is an 8 year old hound mix with a gentle spirit and a signature howl that’s unmistakably hound. She’s never met a dog she didn’t love and can keep up with the young ones without missing a beat. She’s also happy to hang out with anyone she meets—people of all ages are greeted with a wagging tail and her soft, soulful eyes. Blossom is the perfect mix of active and easygoing. She loves long walks where she can sniff to her heart’s content, and when the day winds down, she’s a professional couch potato who just wants to be near her people. Blossom is not a fan of cats, so she’s looking for a cat-free home where she can soak up all the love.
