• Hi, my name is Abby. My foster mom says I am a smart, sweet dog. I’m pretty chill, spending a lot of time chewing on my Nothin’ to Hide bone, chasing a tennis ball, and rolling the Kong slotted ball to get my kibble out. I self-entertain quite well. • With that said, I’m a bit mischievous and sometimes get into things that I shouldn’t. I love to jump on the couch and see what’s on the end table. Watch any food or coffee there. Although my foster mom has been working with me not to do that, I still need more work. • I’m potty training outside and doing really well. Of course, my foster mom is doing well at reading my cues: loss of interest in toys, wandering off, and going to the door. I will be a good candidate for a doggie door as I am being door-trained to go outside. • I don’t really like the crate, but am learning that there are times I need to be there. I’m sleeping through the night, Yay! • I have a mind of my own sometimes, so will need consistent guidance with commands. • I got to go to a local quilt shop for a little socialization and had fun meeting so many new people. I love everyone. • Training Accomplishments: • I sit really well, am working on down and coming when called. I’m not particularly treat incentivized, but do love to please. • Snuggling on my foster mom's lap or on her feet are my favorite places when I’m tired. • An active family would be great, so we can go hiking together! • I know I will have lots of new experiences with you. • I can’t wait for my forever home. I’m definitely ready to be YOURS!
