My foster family called me Roxy and they think I am the sweetest girl! My foster family was a mommy, daddy, human sister (10 yrs old), human brother (6.5 yrs old) and a puppy brother. I am an explorer and like to smell every inch of a room. Once I have explored for a bit I will come check in with my humans to make sure they are still close by, so please watch your step. I also really enjoy playing with toys, especially ones with a squeaker! If you can’t find my toys, check the back of my kennel. I like to hide them there! Sometimes you can find me under a table chewing on a toy. Another fun activity is walking around with a blanket/towel in my mouth. I went to my mommy’s work, at an elementary school, to be shown off. I did good with everyone giving me loves (pets), but was a little nervous. When I am a little unsure of my surroundings I like to be held by my human. One front paw on each shoulder with my chin resting on your shoulder is reassuring for me. I really love kids and am great with them! I have spent some time in a kennel and am getting better at it each day! I like it when my kennel door is left open so I can come and go as I please. I appreciate having a snuggly blanket in the bottom of my kennel to cushion it. I can sleep in my kennel through the whole night without any accidents! My favorite place to get comfy and cozy is on the couch. I like a blanket under me and having my head rest on the arm of the couch. While sitting on my couch spot at night, I enjoy watching TV with my foster family. Sometimes I like to snuggle on your lap and other times I prefer to lay next to you. I get along with other dogs too! My foster puppy brother was a 6 month old 55+ lbs part great dane. We enjoyed wrestling, sharing toys and playing tug-o-war. Sometimes we needed to take breaks in our kennel to calm down. I have done well with house training. My foster family takes me outside about every hour or so and I go when they tell me “go potty”. I am a good eater, I need it to grow! I like to have some wet food mixed in with my dry food, it just tastes better! Due to having a foster puppy brother I was fed 3 times a day instead of free feeding. Pick me to be part of your family! I will bring love, laughter and so much happiness to my fur-ever home!
