Meet Jack also known as Lucky! His life didn’t start out so lucky and was rescued from a kill shelter in New Mexico with his four siblings! When Jack arrived it was discovered he had an eye infection and then was diagnosed with microophthalmia. This condition is where the eye socket and eye in this case was much smaller than normal. To fix this condition our vet thought the best solution was to remove his bad eye, so he or his adoptive family would not have to worry about his condition going forward. His foster says he is the sweetest boy! He loves to give kisses and play with his foster sister. He knows his name (Lucky), how to sit, and sleeps throughout the night. He enjoys going for walks and exploring. Does great with kids of all ages, no nipping, and is an easygoing pup. Having only one eye doesn't affect him one bit, he is just like any other pup. I know he will make a wonderful family dog!
