I am a special needs puppy! I came into the rescue with a snotty nose. I was on several different antibiotics and when it wouldn't clear I had an endoscopy and a ct scan of my head. It was determined I have a shortened soft palate and I am missing one of my tonsils (weird). This means my food can sometimes end up in my nasal cavity. Long term I may have a snotty nose the rest of my life and need nasal flushes (so far I have not needed a nasal flush). Right now my foster is trying different foods to see what size kibble will cause minimal problems! Please come visit me at the next adoption event!
