Penny is a super smart, sweet puppy! She picks up on everything she’s learning so quickly. She has mastered “sit” and is getting very solid with “leave it” and “wait” at an open door. Penny absolutely loves to go on walks! She is working on good walk manners but lacks some confidence and needs some help learning that new things don’t have to be scary. On a leash she tends to get nervous when she sees others dogs walking and will bark but typically responds very well to redirection, Penny will continue to gain confidence with training and each new experience! She is house trained but we still take regular potty breaks just to make sure. Penny sleeps through the night in her own crate but she would also be very happy to snuggle in bed with you. Penny is high energy and gets the zoomies around the house and yard. She also loves to calmly sit by the window and watch everything that goes by (especially those pesky squirrels) or hang out in the kitchen in hopes of some tasty treats while you’re cooking. She is the best at playing with her two foster sister dogs and has even won over the one that doesn’t always like all the puppy attention. Penny would do well with an energetic family that is excited to train and adventure with such a smart pup. Penny is awesome and we know she will grow up to be the best dog ever!
